The Board performs advisory functions by expressing guidelines, opinions and proposals on long-term and medium-term projects and on the programmes of the various editions of the annual event, evaluating their contents.

It is composed by the Conceivers, the Founders, figures indicated by the Members and sponsoring organisations, and experts from various disciplines in order to guarantee the widest cultural coverage.

The Organisers of the annual event and of the main initiatives related to GenovaJeans are invited to the Advisory Board meetings to illustrate projects and programmes and to share comments and proposals.

The members of the Advisory Board perform their activities free of charge, except for the reimbursement of expenses agreed upon in advance with the Committee.

If topics are discussed in the AB on which one or more members may have a conflict of interest, they are required to inform the Board and to abstain when appropriate.

As a general rule, the Advisory Board meets a couple of times a year to provide guidance and reasoning on the best strategies to pursue the objectives of the GenovaJeans Project, providing support when requested to the Organisers of the various initiatives and collaboration to bring authoritative companies and experts to Genoa to ensure the best quality at international level.
