Cyanotypes and Algae, when art and science meet
curated by Michele Luigi Mulas with Valentina Asnaghi, researcher in Restoration Ecology at the University of Genoa
With her workshop entitled CIANOTIPIA E ALGHE, QUANDO ARTE E SCIENZA SI INCONGRANO (Cyanotype and Algae, WHEN ART AND SCIENCE MEET), researcher Valentina Asnaghi will involve the students of the Accademia Ligustica in selecting and using algae in the spectacular artistic technique of cyanotyping on white denim canvas.
La Asnaghi, dedita allo studio delle alghe e alla loro integrazione nel fondo marino, ci condurrà nella visione del fondale come un’opera d’arte unica, da custodire e preservare con cura.

For printing: the Recycrome colours are provided by the company Officina+39, the denim fabric base is provided by Candiani Denim.
